In the America I understand that up to 40% there have no health insurance so what do you do if you are poor and ill?

Many time a minimum wage job at MacDonalds is enough to get you off workfare , even though it's not a livable wage . If you're lucky , you get two minimum wage jobs and don't have a couple of kids at home to worry about being alone while you're working , or how you'll afford day care .
The welfare system is strong in the United States. If you're poor and ill, you're taken care of.

The system should be called "DISEASE CARE", cause in the U.S. nobody treats healthy people... they only treat diseased people! 😲
And there's even a BIGGER problem than that: The doctors are being BOUGHT by the drug companies... Yeah, the doctors want ALL their patients on medications. My own mother is taking 13 different prescription drugs a day - cause her "health care plan" will pay for them. But does she need 13 different prescriptions?? NO!
What the so called "Health Care" system should be doing in this country is getting people to EAT RIGHT... and EXERCISE. The problem is, there's NO MONEY for the "Health Care" system if people did that and DON'T take their prescription drugs!
I never thought that I would be subject to dope peddlers... but that's exactly what has happened to the senior citizens of America! They're preyed on by the government AND the DOPE PEDDLERS - who want to sell them drugs that they not only don't need, but cause the person even MORE damage to their bodies!
