If anyone who actually read the posts had followed the logical train and realized that Swift's "A Modest Proposal" (I'm sure I included at least one link before I was modded) was a biting satire on the then extant English government/aristocracy's solution to "The Irish Problem", perhaps we wouldn't be having this diatribic debate...
Personally, I object strenuously to the sexist, age-ist, racist, ethnic, homophobic posts that seem to be acceptable hereabouts...
However, if that is "the norm" and therefore acceptable, I will use the "alert" button as assidiously as I use my wit and vocabulary in the future. 😀
