can anyone point me in the right direction ? this game says i'm supposed to move, but to me it looks like i'm in check... i can't figure out where i have a move....

I don't think we are allowed to comment on games that are in progress...but I'll take a look at the game anyway.

zach - obviously i'm missing something - like some rule or other. i can't see a move at all. i seem to be in checkmate. so maybe, just refer me to the rule i'm missing?

very strange one. Don't know if I'm allowed comment on it, but basically you have 1 legal move. If you can't spot it, go back a couple of moves and it should become obvious.

You do know the en passant rule, don't you? Your only legal move is gxh3.

FYI - Wanting to be honest, I put a chess note on the game that I needed help with being referred to the "en passant" move. I have offered to resign the game, since technically I did have help with being referred to the only legal move. I thought it the right thing to do. Just wanted to thank those who helped.

I don't think that's necessary. You weren't in checkmate, it's just one of the limitations of computer chess that you can't lose if you can't think of a legal move (well maybe you could just think about it until you were timed out).
