As long as we have religion we shall never have peace. As long as we have contempt for religion we shall never have peace. As long as we have peace we shall seek its end. Conflict is what makes us who we are, it defines us. We have to end this insane cycle or we are all doomed.

Where should those people go to live as a muslim in a muslim country?
D
Why stay in countries where they obviously despise the people and their way of life?
Why should everywhere have to change to suit them?
Before you do your usual jump to conclusions, I'm talking about extremists.

You have had that dang vacation sign up for months now yet you are still finding time to post and move in games.
Your getting timed out sucka!

Blah blah blah.
The fact is, boycotting Danish products because a Dane made an offensive picture is just plain stupid.
I will not stand by and watch Muslims trying to bully the Danes into submission because they don't like what they saw in a few (damn funny) pictures.
come on, they're crap.

I find the spread of Islam scary. I aslo think the spread of christianity must have been scary. Just think, all the native indians/africans must have been thinking, if you don't like our country, then please find another christian country in which you'd find the standards acceptable. Why stay in our country when you obviously despise my people and our way of life enough to torture and kill our women and children and enslave us all. Why should we change to suit you?
Notice any parrallels?
There will always be one denomination putting others down as long as religion spread by fear, conquest and war blinds people's morals, be it christianity or islam.

More advice for Danish (and other) racists: don't be hypocritical.

(for those who don't go to Debates)
Not defending the Danish rag, but their Mohammed cartoons had a political point to make, which they made heavy-handedly. What was the political motivation of the Jesus cartoons? Was there one, or was it just anti-religious guff? Can they be compared, or is the editor actually correct to say they are two different fish?
Originally posted by sjegThe editor didn't care if Muslims were offended by the one set of cartoons because the rag's readership is presumably not Muslim; however, the Christ cartoons were pulled for fear of offending their delicate sensibilities. The double standard is really quite obvious.
Can they be compared, or is the editor actually correct to say they are two different fish?
Originally posted by sjegThe political point being: we have the right to gratuitously offend whatever group we please, if it is profitable for us to do so.

That's not the liberal democratic culture I know and love.
