I like wood floors, but some of the newer carpets that are tightly woven are nice.

:'( Was he ill or just old?
He was just the sweetest animal and we miss him terribly.
Originally posted by NordlysIt was kind of a combination of the two. The doctor actually was going to operate on him for free. He was supposed to go in tomorrow morning for the operation. Given his age, the doctor wasn't terribly optimistic though. Anyway, I'm glad he died at home on his own terms, instead of having to be put to sleep.

I hope they don't just chuck them in the freezer and let them die. We always fed him live mice. Usually two at a time. I know that's not terribly nice either, but at least it's the way it occurs in nature, and besides that, it's pretty quick and (hopefully) painless.
Do you have to get a rat occasionally? Will they eat a frozen rat or does it have to be alive?
Originally posted by rbmorrisI use to have a neighbor that had a whole freezer full of rats for just that purpose. He ordered them by mail.
