"Sunny-side up" are those fried only on one side (i.e. what I know as fried eggs), according to Wikipedia.
Norwegian eggs don't have salmonella anyway. That means we can ignore the "best before" date. Apparently eggs are still fine after more than half a year.
I was under the impression that salmonella came from the hen's 'poop'. This sometimes gets on the egg shells which is where the possible infection comes from. SO i'm not sure how any eggs can be declared 'salmonella free'. Can someone educate me on this?

I bet fresh layed eggs taste so much better than store bought.

Worth finding out when my grocers get their eggs. Thanks!

you can eat a raw egg without getting 'salmonella' you know. try it.
142,000 Americans contracted it from raw eggs last year and 30 of them died (according to Wickepedia) and both the shell and the interior can be contaminated.
I've had the disease before, although not contracted from eggs. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, took me months to feel back to normal. I won't even lick the spoon when making cookies, and Nestle just had a recall 2 weeks ago of their ready to bake cookie mix because folks had eaten it raw and contracted it from the eggs in the batter.
