I don't see being pedantic as wrong, but Red Night obviously does, and it seems that he sees it as a greater wrong than risking other people's life. That's his opinion, not mine. I don't know why he brought up pedantism in this thread, as I can't see how you could interpret anything I have written in this thread as pedantic. I assumed he just brought it up b t understand how you can continue doing this if you understand the possible consequences.
I never compared pedantry with driving while under the influence.
All I said was say why don't you leave the poor guy alone.
It is not your job to punish 789. You often accuse me of acting morally superiour and attempting to force my views down the throats of others. Why is it wrong for me to do that on a broad issue like tolerance and acceptance but alright for you to do on a narrow issue like 789's drunk driving.
789 has made it clear that your attacks are not making the situation better. Apparently, if we believe his story, he will soon begin paying for his crimes. Isn't that enough to satisfy you?

Instead, we are persecuting someone who is about to go to jail.
From what I can tell, he seems to be unraveling a bit in anticipation of that prospect.
And, I'm saying, let's show a little compassion.
