General

In the time I am a m,ember several times the end of the General Forum was predicted.

Currently we observe low activity... anybody seeing an end of the Forum?

@Ponderable
It hasn't actually died as far as I remember, but it was shut down once or twice in the very early years.

The main shutdown that I remember was when things got overloaded with a bunch of 'soap opera drama', and personal attacks. That finally led to a total forum shutdown for a few days, or maybe longer.

When it did come back, the moderator program came with it.

There is certainly less activity than there once was. Perhaps some of it has to do with people getting use to the New Format?

Let's see if I'm still an RHP programmer.

Edit: yep! 😂

I haven't been.

I've never programmed for RHP.

I just know more about using computers than you do, and you're not as clever as you think you are.

It's approaching summertime (at least in the Northern Hemisphere).

But yeah, many have announced "the end is near!"

Ain't happening.
