that trade is only a little part at the end of the game i quoted. bowman played some good chess in the parts leading up to that spot demolishing a player in the 2000 ratings.
i am interested in learning, but not how to build up gradual little advantages through trading pieces to win a game. i want to win other ways.

players over 1600 don't usually go down with a loud bang. it takes slow constricting pressure, strangling like a boa, tightening your grip every breath the victim exhales. that's what the gradual little advantages are about.

i wasn't meaning it would be easy to win against a high rated player (which i consider to be around 1700). i was meaning it wouldn't be that hard to get a win proportional to how hard it would be otherwise.
look my point is i could go out and purposely try to trade off all my pieces with a high ranked player and get a draw. it ain't that hard.
