So on the first day on a new job in Phoenix, riding my motorcycle from Venice beach after overhauling it in my driveway, met some Havapai Indians at a bar, really nice couple, got totally smashed, and my bike was on a platform where I had parked.
So we said goodbye more or less, I got on my bike and saw the platform was about 5 feet off the ground level and I, being incredibly smart, decided to drive off the platform to the asphalt below.
To my surprise, I didn't flatten myself when I hit the ground and actually stayed upright but my new friends saw that little escapade and said, you know, we have a van, we can put your bike in it and take you to your apartment, and in my drunken stupor, agreed so they drove me home and I parked the bike and went to bed and woke up with a huge headache surprised I actually survived my stupid episode.
