How that's suddenly come on I don't know but I ALSO HATE GOLF! It's boring, complicated and has a few people in their 90s wandering around on some grass.

A curious game whose object is to get a very small ball into a very small hole with implements ill designed for the purpose-WC

Hang in there. You'll get better.Once bitten by the golf bug,you are infected for life so best get used to it 🙂

Greatest game ever.
You compete entirely 'against' yourself, for yourself. There's no teammates to influence if you win or lose.
It's just you, the ball, and the elements...
Gotta love it!

i have a handicap of 28!!!!!! i have no idea how-i've played in two medals, and each time doubled par...:p i've given up though because i can't afford the fees (£92 for one years membership! but then again, it's about £97.50 for one round at the old course in St Andrews...)

Check out Robin Williams Live on Broadway doing his impression of the drunk Scotsman who invented the game of golf. It will confirm everything you feel about the dreadful game.😀 Kirk

Wait a second here...genius...you have 28 strikes above...and you win two medals....hmm...that doesn't sound logical to me...🙂

I've played it once...but it was a short course...(10 holes, about 80-100 meters)

Naah, he played in two medal competitions, where you count every stroke.
But I don't think a handicap can be above 24.

He hit 4 balls into the water hazard at the par 3 15th at Springs GC.
Then another off the tee on the 16th.

Balls - $2,
Entertaining your friends - priceless!"
