dear forum generals, please take a look at this clans avatar, Clan 25320 and note
how the letters are highlighted in sequence, does anyone know how to achieve this
effect or can recommend a site or a program to chive similar effect- thanks, his most
illustrious holy eminence, pontificate maximus - Robbie.

Do you already have an image with the lettering? Can you dissect an animation into its separate frames? You'll probably find the image as is, and next the sequence of that flash moving from letter to letter.

Well?

If you have an image with the lettering I would copy it and brighten the first portions of lettering, save that as a frame, and continue doing this until the frames were completed. Put it all together and BooM@!~

hi Plab, i get yah, is there a program that lets you put frame after frame and save it as
a jpeg? I can easily do it with Gimp, for it lets you create layers, but I would need a
program to put them altogether in an animated giff or jpeg,

I've never used this, but try http://picasion.com/

if that fails, message me if you want me to put the frames together for you... I use animation shop that came with paintshop pro.

That actually looks cheesy, because I'd want to give different speeds to a couple frames.

I'll say you need a new clanvatar. The old one's some disco theme. 😛

I think in the image drop down there is a View as Animation button so you can check it... or just open it in an image viewer
