Natural Law is something that is heavily used in Scotland, and also is embedded in English and American law (Magna Carta resp. United States Declaration of Independence), but by no means it is a universal law concept.

Whoops! Made an @ss of myself there, didn't I? I mistook Natural Law for the laws of nature. Apparently, Natural Law has absolutely nothing to do with the natural laws. Go figure. 😵

Nodleys, let me try to explain this to you since it apparently went over your head. Arrakis made a quote. My response to his Quote was because of his choice of words. It sounded like it he could have meant he thinks that the rapists and the children who were raped should all be killed. I am almost positive that is not what he meant, but I was only trying to point out in jest his choice of words. Now Red night saw the humor in the choice of words too. He wasn't thinking that the kids should be killed any more than I did. What Red was saying was ha ha that is a good one in response to my quote. On the other hand Arrakis thought I was saying if kids were the rapist should they be killed in the same manner as Adults criminals. From what Arrakis said in a latter post I believe that is the way he feels. He says age is no excuse. I disagree but that is another issue. And one I assume he thinks I should be killed for. But only in jest I hope.

"I agree with some of your posts my friend, but in this case I have to disagree with your philosophy.

When it comes to people who rape children and therefore screw those kids up for life,
I say KILL THEM ALL!!!

I rather feel the same way about anyone who disagrees with me on this."

I really think you knew this all along Nordleys in the same way I knew Arrakis didn't mean what it almost sounded like he said.

This is classic. Huck was right again. Too bad he isn't here to see it.

You are right, I knew all that. The point of my post was to show how hypocritical Red Night is when he rejects other people's use of sarcasm and pretends that he never uses it himself.

Funnily, the one who was seriously disagreeing with you was someone who according to you belongs to your "silent majority".

Life is just a funny thing sometimes isn't it. The funny thing is that you disagree just to disagree.😀

I use sarcasm all of the time.

What I don't do is tell a battered woman that "I like my woman black and blue" and then expect her and everyone else to magically divine that I'm being sarcastic. Particularly in a case where, even if I am being sarcastic, the comment is still grossly inappropriate.

Now I know that you will rack your brain for a clever way to twist this statement around and I know that telling you to let it go won't stop you. I know that you will attempt to disagree with that which cannot be disputed and attempt to support that which is unsupportable.

I wish I could stop you. But, I'm pretty sure you can't even stop yourself. So go ahead; dig the hole even deeper.

Can you cite a specific precident setting case from "Natural Law"(like "Brown vs. Board of Education", or Roe vs. Wade" ) ?
Roe v. Wade is beyond question a case that was based on Natural Law specifically the Lockean version incorporating "Fundamental Rights" theory.
