Roe v. Wade is beyond question a case that was based on Natural Law specifically the Lockean version incorporating "Fundamental Rights" theory.
That would be a right-wing approach because it would accuse the court of legislating.
You could also see those same penumbra's emanating from the Bill of Rights.
There is no question that Natural Law played heavily on the Declaration, the Bill of Rights, and on the Consitution.
There is also no question that those concepts were largely Scottish in origin. (Well put, Mephisto)

I use sarcasm all of the time.
What I don't do is tell a battered woman that "I like my woman black and blue" and then expect her and everyone else to magically divine that I'm being sarcastic. Particularly in a case where, even if I am being sarcastic, the comment is still grossly inappropriate.
Now I know that you will rack your brain for a clev ...[text shortened]... But, I'm pretty sure you can't even stop yourself. So go ahead; dig the hole even deeper.

Now, I know I'm going to take a lot of flack for this one and I'm prepared to weather the storm.
But, I believe that murdering another human being is immoral, illegal, and just plain wrong.

I think it is wrong to take another human life and I don't think it should be tolerated here on RHP.
form of punishment?I'll assume death is not a suitable punishment in this case. And I completely disagree with your remark about cannibals. They do not "murder" people per say. They dine on them and think of them in much the same way as we think of cattle, fowl, pork, etc. Unless you are a vegetarian I must ask you to take back that remark.
