...he has gone through a scale of attention seeking ploys:

Miaowing
Scratching (furniture)
Clawing (human)
Scratching (human)
Sitting on me

He is now lying just infront of my keyboard making a good wrist rest whilst I type.

I'd better go feed him.

🙂

P.s. No animals were harmed during the posting of this post.

Aw.
I had to bury a cat the other day, poor old guy had a tumour in his mouth and couldn't eat. He was 17.
The place seems awful quiet now.

Once my cat gets fed, he's out of sight for a while. He's all love... feeds.. and runs.

KneverKnight... sorry about your cat, bud. Gonna get a new pet?

KneverKnight - Sorry to hear - There maybe some Kittens at the local rescue that you could help out?

Phlabibit - mine has done exactly the same as normal, 'Thanks for the food, I'm off to hunt/shag/stare/fight now - I'll wake you at 3am'

I have gotten into the habit of feeding my cats when I feed myself.

The result? 2 Tigers staring at me from 3 inches away, and an untouched bowl of cat food.

Thanks for the consolances 🙂
I still have one cat, but he's the silent type.

i wonder if there are any cat psychologists out there..
my cat keeps bringing in mice and birds..i get up to find headless birds, feathers and blood spattered across my floor. Now i know this is supposed to be 'a gift' off my cat but surely after getting regular rollockings my cat would have got the message but he persists on doing this. He is a tom but i had him spayed because i thought this would solve the prob.Oh and yes...I do feed him.
Any solutions??

sorry about your cat KK...get your other cat a friend 🙂

Get used to it.
Not much help, I know, but he is honouring you in his own way.

the other morning he had bought a bird in ... in the process of ripping its head off had chucked up. I mean..blood, guts and puke aren't a pretty sight at 7am. I'm beginning to think he hates me 🙁

Just different cultures, the way of the cat is strange to us ...
Or maybe he's just nuts, some cats are!

Yeah...the cat is trying to tell you he loves you and stuff....just pet him and stuff and then clean it up and throw it away.

Yeah, after too many mutilated "gifts" I don't feel so special about it. My cats have a cat door and bring me all sort of things. Among the oddest wat a stretch of nights being awoken by the cat wrestling a bat. Now *there's* a challenging thing to catch and toss back outside.

Hahaha...sorry...had to laugh...a bat?!?! That's weird...

My cats always decide to fight right in the middle of the hallway right outside my bedroom door. They're rabbit kickin each other in the head (funny at any other time of day) and raising hell at 3 am...I wanna shoot em sometimes.

I have elderly neighbours on both sides of me and the both enjoy feeding the birds. The only problem is my two cats know at what times to sit hiding in the bushes now!
