What's the point of this phrase in someone's profile (and I have seen it in many profiles)? You CAN'T take timeouts when the opponent is on vacation, so what's the catch?

I think when vacation was originally introduced, it was possible to still time people out during this period - it was more of a sign for players who dont like to do that sort of thing that there was a genuine reason for their opponents absence.

They're saying that unless they're prevented from taking a time-out, you're toast unless you show up for the game.
