    If you MUST tell lies, try ~ at least ~ to make sure they are honourable lies, although this will bring you into conflict with purveyors of honourable liars of all manners of ilk and persuasion.

    Are lies uttered or extracted under coercion, or by threat of harm or death, wrong in and of themselves? Surely not. In fact, can't deceiving someone who is engaged in dangerous or immoral acts be morally good?
