General

Clock

beyond retardation
munching on a pear
beyond retardation
sipping a carbonated drink

the dunces from dutch land
the fat blob of despair
just wait until you hear him snore
volcanoes erupting go unheard

beyond retardation
it just left the room
ears preparing for another bombardment
life choices
throw a shoe to shut it up
and possibly face the almighty raph of the retarded
or lay back, suck it up and put my head phones in
playing anything, nothing, whatever drowns it out
the intolerable sound that is an old man snoring
always praying one of the French guys in the room
the godlike French dudes if they pull it off
does something
anything
that shuts the old f***er up.

i can hear it coming
the sound it mutters can't be compared
loud humming unprovoked
without timing, without rhyme and rhythm
and with all certainly minus grace
the noise of the mentally challenged
and indeed it enters
one only wonders why it ceases to exist
yesterday i was reading and listening to music when it went to bed
yesterday i gave it the courtesy of putting my head phones on
but not tonight, no sir not tonight
if you want to create your brand of noise pollution you'll have to get pass mine first
sighs come from the retarded
i think i'll put the volume up
it says nothing

it's morning but i must still be dreaming
it can't be possible what im witnessing
the shear shameless nerve
it can't be real
the snoring...it wasn't an issue last night
not really
maybe i was just that tried
the lingering effect of my cold?
it's also possible the music drowned it out
i just don't believe it wasn't as loud

dozing in and out of consciousness
i wake to an unfortunate familiar sound
coming from it's bed
but it can't be what i'm thinking
no one on this earth would have the nerve
not with another 5 or 6 people in the same room
but here we are
as i gingerly turned my head
expecting the surreal
it was there
the covers going up
the covers going down
up
and
down
again and again
in a room of 5 or 6 'sleeping unknowns'
there lays an old man
totally at ease with him himself?
oblivious to his surroundings?
lonely and deprived of human contact?
probably but most definitely
trapped in the world of the retarded
masturbating

mmm, interesting subject for a poem. I used to tie a piece of fishing line to my
brothers toe, every time he snored i used to yank on it. He claimed that he never
snored, so i taped it, he claimed that it wasn't him!

Freaky old dude was eating the pear... I just wrote about it. Sadly it's 100% true what was written in that story.

...but 'sharing a pear' is also in your 'Poem'.

YOU LOVE THEM!~ JUST SAY IT AND GET IT OVER WITH!

I took a lot of time and thought coming up with that avatar doing a google search. Least you can do is use it.

I thought we were friends.

etc.

Convert the story into song and i'll put the pear avatar up 😛

That would show that we're friends etc.

Pears are awesome though. Someone should write a poem or song about them.

Clock

Ode to a pear

I ate one
I ate another
Pears are green
Shaped like your mother

Pears don't judge
My clothes or hair
Pears don't point
Laugh or stare

Would you like
To share my pear?
Take your damn hands
out of there!

I keep my pears
Hidden safe
They're all mine
So back off.

When in Holland, stay in Amsterdam for one,(this is going on my own personal experince over there, your may vary, but I found the residents of rotterdam to be much more colder than just up the road at amsterdam.

Also it gives you an insight into the characters that make up our world that we sometimes dont notice,(unless we have to put up with a night of their snoring).

The poem by itslelf is just simple ideas, but depending on your own personal experince , it may speak volumes to you because of other perhaps similar experiences.
It may not be very instructive for some, depends. I got a lot from it. Some of which is a bit disturbing ...🙂

I hear you, I hear you 🙂

I got the same feeling with regards to Amsterdam/Rotterdam. Had been to Amsterdam before but that was my first time in Rotterdam, didn't like it tbh with you.
