It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the “Iceman” has succumbed to his illness.π’ May he Rest In Peace.
I thought you were talking about someone else.
I liked @Gambrel's grizzly off-the-wall humour. He will be missed.
Edit: perhaps I meant "grizzled".

@fmf said@Ice-Cold , aka @Chess-Praxis, aka @Gambrel.
One of your pets?
Real name Art (Arthur). I won’t type his surname.
Author of the Sticky Post thread.
Many years ago he and I were connected on Facebook then he just dumped it all and went off the grid somewhat. I hardly new him at all tbh but he was one of the faces when I arrived in early 2008.
Fair well Sir.
@divegeester
Sad news. I got to know him when I was new on RHP and new member in Friends of Cash club. He introduced himself as ChessPraxis when he joined the club - I didn't know of his earlier accounts - we had a few games and he was active in the forums. He was one of the posters I won't forget. I believe his name was Arther.

@great-big-stees saidI’m sure FMF’s original post was a well meant response and not realising who/what ice cold was.
I was disappointed at your first, now deleted, response. Glad to see this one. He, Art, was certainly grizzled.

@divegeester saidI agree. Although we may not see eye to eye on some things I think as he said, he misread the post.

Art and I were on the same Team on another site, we once chatted on the phone for hours, back some years ago. I sort of lost touch with him the last few years. He was never concerned about speaking his mind, a stand up guy for sure. I actually took his spot in Metallica when he left, but not near the player he was. May he R.I.P.

@very-rusty saidHe still crushed me in our game.
Thanks G.B.S.,

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIndeed! As I said I wasn't near the player he was. I just played a lot of games. He was a very good player no doubt about it. He will be missed by many on this site.

@very-rusty saidI had a few, or several, games with him as 'lolof', I was a better player then, even played HandyAndy. π Art was always very encouraging in our games. Those were good days.
