Dim Sum is a beautiful thing. I always thought it was more of a morning meal though. Maybe I'm wrong.

I've eaten it in Hongkong, and it was for evening meal, but i know they do sweets, and stuff aswell.

As for what i'm having, a friend is bringing it from the city, and apart from Dumplings with pork, the rest of the order will be Her's to decide.

As long as there's no Chicken feet 😛

I had sum great dim sum at a restaurant in Los Angeles many years ago (for dinner, not breakfast). I have no idea what half of the stuff we ate was (most of the waiters didn't speak much English), but it was delicious!

Did you have the little lottery form things, where you just ticked the boxes, and the stuff kept coming ?

The do a sugared egg yolk thing that i find quite disgusting. I guess it's not much different to over sugared Custard, but it was quite quite revolting.

I don't remember how they registered what we had eaten, but they came around with trolleys, and you could pick what you wanted.

Same here. I kind of like that method of eating. Too bad no other cultures have borrowed that idea...at least that i know of.
