In Memory of those that lost

General

on this tenth anniversary of one of the worst tragedies in recent memory, I think it is important that we remember the victims of the heinous attack on the World Trade Center Towers.

So many suffered, so many died, so many were left without a father, mother, son, daughter, sibling.

I offer the love of the brotherhood of man to those who lost a loved one.

God bless you all.

Thanks, Red. Hoping against hope this isn't an annual cameo. How about a game

for old time's sake... 3/7 or 7/14 with you as General of the White Army? -gb

I don't come on much. I play at another site now. Too many looneys on here for my taste. Really more of a chat room for the mentally deranged than a chess site.

maybe a 60/60 ?

For me I didn't even know how severe it was even though I was there at Red Cross Headquarters keeping emergency radios running and relaying some messages and just being a gofer for 24 hours.

I was there but a few miles away in relative comfort.

It looks like we are so far protected from the mad bombers today though.

Yesterday my sister got a weird phone call, a guy with a middle east accent calls her phone and is saying she won't be able to use her computer ever again because he is launching a virus that will kill it. He was creepy and knew her exact email address.

Don't know if that was a crank call or not but told her to tell homeland security just in case. Anyone else get threatening phone calls like that?

This really irritates me - why don't you have the decency to mention those who also died at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania... they are no less important.

My thoughts to all the friends and families of all who died on that dreadful day.

Catnap, this in memorium post obviously refers to all who suffered loss on 9/11/01.

There's no call for splitting hairs because it doesn't detail each of the individual sites.
