The day has finally arrived, personally I hope there are no nut-jobs around to try any of their usual bs.
Best of luck to the man, he has a tough journey ahead of him.

I have to agree. He's starting in a hole from the beginning but I'm sure/hoping he can devise a ladder to get out of it. Good luck president Obama!

Now that DSR is banned from the site, we cannot monitor if he's offline hence preparing his sniper rifle to gun Obama down 😕

Apparently every precaution is being taken to ensure that nothing happens...
Fingers crossed!

An Interesting Footnote: Price tag for this historic event = $150,000,000 of USA Taxpayer Revenues, 3-4 times the amount GW was sternly

criticized by the media for spending... same media that is now curiously silent. Speak of selective outrage, situational ethics and hypocrisy.

what exactly is this price tag for? It can't be solely for the inauguration party, can it?

Voted my conscience based on establishment principle past three elections as I've always done in previous decades... without regard to party.

Yes... believe it or not that's the cost of the week long extravaganza as reported on both USA TV and FM Radio yesterday. Hard to believe.

Edit: In fairness, cost of providing ramped up security for both the main actors and unprecedented crowds must be a major variable.
