I was just wondering if it is always this quiet on this site? I don't mind slow moves in game as I am not always on or near a computer and I've occasionally scanned through the various forums to get a feel for the players. Seems to me it's like the library. Very shhhhhh

It's a correspondence chess site, hence the low move rate. If you want something a bit quicker, try clicking on the 'blitz' icon; Top right hand side.

Thought I said don't mind slow moves in game. Not complaining. Simply asking.

Never said that you were. Not criticising, just trying to help.

Just visited blitz room, it's like chess meets table tennis' I think I'll take pro-plus before my next trip.

If you're wondering about forum activity, it is always changing. Weekends are usually slow, and various times of the day around the world makes a difference as well. And the different forums have different levels of interest and activity.

Yes it's a bit much for me but I find it good to practice openings some times.

blitz is too fast for me. I am just beginner and still not sure all the good moves. Would like to meet other beginner players to learn with.

have sent a game. My weird moves will keep you occupied for ages (i.e. wondering what useless move i can think of next)
