Greetings pawn-pushers!
Russ closed my account about a month ago due to my (mis)listing of a porn site in the open invites area*. After an explanation and apology and what Russ called a "cooling off period", I was "re-instated". I quickly discovered my membership was cancelled and am only being allowed to finish out my existing games. Even with only 2 games running, I cannot add or accept more. Even a non-subscriber gets six.
He's not responded to any emails in my inquiry to what I need to do to make amends or whatever. So, as I wait to resign my last games**, I'll not be signing up again. (Easy enough to do under another name, and he'd never know it was me. But when someone's on what seems like a power trip I tend to let them ride it out. More his loss than mine.)
I can understand punishing those that break the rules, but at least communicate and clarify the sentence.
There will be those of you that stand up for Russ, understandably, but keep in mind: How you treat the few is just as important as how you treat the masses.
I'll still be referring folks to this site. It's a great place to play. Hell, I won't even ask for a refund.
Well, there might be a couple of you that will miss me. I'll miss you too. I'll leave you in Bowman's good hands. 😉

Yeah, says I have 12, but it lies. I'm running only two right now. I'd like to blame it on some error some where, but with no response from admin (yet he's still posting elsewhere), I can only assume....

As far as being 'personally responsible', I am not responsible for other people's choices. Everyone is responsible for everything that happens to them. But that's an arguement for another forum.
Besides, use Mozilla Firefox as your browser and 99% of your spyware issues are over. Plus, you non-subscribers will then be able to easily block the ad banners.
