It's not a game...
It's not a game any longer. It's about time. It's high time for all of us to come home to our ever 'lovin senses. It's time to come out from behind the cover of worn out avatars and nicknames. It's time to consider potentially hurtful words before they're spoken. It's time to turn over a new leaf for our own sakes and for the sake of the market appeal of this still successful Red Hot Pawn Chess Site and Public Forums. It's time for a show of hands to publically confirm our individual intent going forward. Aye's please take a stand to the left in the upper right hand corner of your screen where the two thumbs are located. Nay's please form your own line to the right. It's also time for those who've been squatting on the popularity fence to make up their minds, not unlike finally making a timely move in an over the board chess game. Thank you. -gb

Show Me the Money (Ireland), Irish financial advice program on Radio Telefís Éireann, unrelated to the above shows. "Show Me the Money" (Robin Hood episode). Show Me the Money (UK game show). Show Me the Money (Spanish game show). Show Me the Money, a song by American Rapper Petey Pablo from the Step Up Soundtrack released in 2006. Show Me the Money, a 2008 [bmixtape[/b] by Show Money. Change is a choice and i would recommend that you make one if you're sincere in this thread.
If you do make a marked, positive step to not alienating more than half the regular posters, I, for one, would be much less inclined to give you both barrels at every opportunity. Hell, i might even be pleasant for a change.
Edit: I would not consider your second post in this thread to be a particularly positive step. Why respond with a pseudo intellectual cut and paste diatribe when a sincere explanation of what you'd lime to see change would have been much easier to swallow?

One problem: How will we know who has thumbed up or down so as to either hold them to account if they renege, or ask them to justify their rejection of the ceasefire?
Originally posted by kevcvs57First, it's it's an individual matter. Their business is none of ours. Second, who causes thumbs to register up or down is inconsequential. Their franchise actions or inactions and voting record will remain in the RHP Archives long after their lives on earth are over. The bitter and/or sweet memories of their own cowardice or courage will accompany them to the grave. Third, and last, you yourself with just a few thoughtful posts have set an example of how a member may rise to the occasion, without regard for crowd approval or disapproval, in facing an odd and invisible challenge in a contructive manner. I thank you.
