Is this typical for 'free' healthcare for everyone? I hope not and sorry that you have to put up with constant pain for months.

I feel sorry for those people that can't afford to get any treatment in a private healthcare system...

Bot6 have they offered you a second epidural? That's what they offer Mums who had the pain releive in labour, and got the headache.

Sorry to hear about that. Hope you feel better. In the meantime, can't they give you some painkillers?

No, I don't have private healthcare, and fortunately I am in good health, for the most part, but at least I can rely on the NHS if need be, even if it is slack it's better than nothing; my worry lies for people who can't afford private healthcare, and they have nothing like the NHS to fall back on...

Hope your leg is better, same with your headache Bot6, hope everything turns out alright in the end with it.

My aunt had an epidural punctured sack of sorts... and the damn nurse dragged her out of bed into the shower... She would have killed that nurse, if she was able to function at all.

It did eventually go away.... but I feel for you.

That doesn't apply to anyone here in the U.S. Emergency care and many free clinics are available.
