Well we had the discussion before what this actually means and I think we agreed that it is a mere game.
Some threads are killed because someone bored everyone to death. Some just outlive their topic. And the suggestion has been made to rather celebrate those who found threads, as being the creative people, however we had a lot of threads created which were just duds...
Don't listen to the nags, you're going a good job which people appreciate. Can't please everyone and some people aren't worth trying to please.

On the Debates Forum such threads were once dubbed "Flowers Wasted On The Desert Air" which both depicted such threads' creators in a positive light whilst signalling disapproval of the human landscape on that forum.

But here in RHP's "Trailer Park" Forum, it's all fun and games until someone puts an eye out.

Are you angry about what I said about "Flowers Wasted On The Desert Air"?

My posts (killed by me as a thread-starter) are in that case "Ikebana wasted on desert Air".

Are any of the champions of "jimslyp forum killing" posters who bump old threads of their own with a "Thanks" or "Thanks for being here" weeks after they went dormant and everyone just ignores it as it slides back down the threads list again until one day they get counted by you?
