It's a word used by parents talking to their toddlers: it combines "stools" with "jobbies". My parents stopped complaining about my stooges on the upstairs landing carpet ~ just a yard or two short of the WC ~ when I was 18 years old.

Who were the original Three Stooges?

I would have gotten this wrong on a Stooges trivia question, Shemp was the first odd man out in the group not Curly. The original group was Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Shemp Howard. The trio name was Ted Healy and the Southern Gentlemen.May 22, 2012.

Perhaps before your time? 😉.......We use to call them Moe, Curly, and larry, which wasn't really correct.
