Aye. Certain things don't happen until you hit a certain level. Go to mount Noob and see what the Oriole has to say then just keep adventuring to gain meat and improve your stats and your level. After you start hitting levels 3, 4, 5, then there are more things that become open to you.
oh god im sick....i aquired a "bum cheek"!!! hahaha

Here's one for ya. If I'm let's say. attacking this rat.If I stay in the tavern, does every attack I make on it add up, or is it a fresh attack every time.
thanks guys i think im getting the hang of it....according to the council of loathing im lonely so they gave me 500 meat to fertilize a mosquito larvae to keep as a friend!
Originally posted by Freddie2004There's loads of types of familiars, you'll find and make them later in the game. Everyone starts of with a mosquito though, as you get it free from the Council.
questions:
1) what sort of "familiar" do you have? Does everyone get a mosquito or does it vary, because I think I got a bit of a dud!!?
2) underneath my level number is says "puffin intimidator"...what is that about?
My familiars
Tweak the 18 pound Coffee Pixie
Buzz Spitefear, the 20 pound Mosquito
Pong, the 9 pound Blood-Faced Volleyball
Mr. Flibble, the 1 pound Levitating Potato
Fang, the 1 pound Sabre-Toothed Lime
Sin, the 1 pound Grue
"Puffin Intimidator" is just the rank/level Seal Clubber you are. It'll change every level you go up. I'm currently a Level 9 Caribou Smacker.
Helpful tip for you all.
Check if you've got a "Bar Skin" and "Wooden Stakes" in your inventory. If you haven't go buy them from the Mall or Flea Market. Combine them and you'll get a "Bar Skin Tent" which will increase the healing you get when resting at your Campsite so you don't so many waste turns.
Even better than the Tent is to get a "Bowl of Cottage Chesse" and some "Anti-cheese" which you can buy in the Market. Combine them and you'll get a "Cottage" to put in your campsite which is far better than tents at healing HP and MP when you rest.
Oh and go see your respective Guilds at the Wrong/Right Side of the Tracks, once you pass their tests you can get useful skills and items.
