Yes I agree but not everything is an attack, and you had no reason to think his words were anything but kindness.

I’m sorry for your struggles, my cousin was just admitted again and has the same thing. Are you taking your meds most of his issues start when he quits taking them. I don’t talk about my struggles here but I do have them, I try and focus on the positive things from it. I understand that’s harder in your case when things aren’t going well and I’m sorry. I’ve tried to be friends with you numerous times through the years but you always seem to attack me in some form but this gives me a little more understanding.

People test each other inadvertently often enough already that they shouldn't do so deliberately.
