Language and abuse in forums

Can you clarify something. Your original post, was it targeted at the debates forum? Or observations from most forums?

The debates forum should be closed imo. Not as bad as it used to be but it's still the same old people bickering about the same stuff over and over. It's boring.

"Debates" is a cesspool and goes with a waring sign. We don't want the GF to become a Debate 2.0.

send feedback. I see an overwhelming use of inappropriate language there and understand that the debates Forum mainly serves that people get off steam, but some are superheated boilers and their valve is always fully open.

Perhaps an apt retort may be appropriate. If you disagree with someone’s “opinion” something like…” people who live in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones”?🤔

Please start a thread in Debates if you want to discuss debates.

I can point you to demeaning language from both sides of the US spectrum.

But this is of no bearing here.

Well it would seem you are not being successful with that approach. Eventually your hitting your head against the wall may cause you to see your isn’t working. If you are not happy with the situation there are avenues of escape available.🤔😲👍
