The rep for the 85-year-old — who has had a myriad of health issues throughout his life, including a heart attack in 1987 and a lung cancer diagnosis in 2017 — insisted that there was nothing to get all worked up about. “His doctors expect him to make a full recovery. To be clear, and contrary to published reports, his doctors say he did not have a heart attack and he did not go into cardiac arrest.”

The statement wrapped up, “Larry is in good spirits and thanks everyone for their concern. He’s expected to be back to work on his shows, Larry King Now and PoliticKING with Larry King soon.”



Good news regarding the Larry King Live host doesn’t come as much as a shock to fans who have witnessed him bravely beat cancer a few years back. Last month, Larry opened up to Closer Weekly about how overcoming chronic leukemia encouraged him to keep his never-ending love and appreciation for life.

“I feel like the billion dollar man,” Larry, whose in the 62nd year of his incredible broadcasting career, gushed to Closer. “Even though I’ve had all these illnesses, I keep bouncing back.” Luckily, the TV personality has an amazing support system. “I have a beautiful, supportive wife, three grown children, two younger children and a stepson,” he shared. “I feel blessed to have great people around me, great family, great friends. I pinch myself every day.” We hope you have the speediest recovery, Larry!

In lieu of an interview, they are planning on feeding him into a wood chipper and using him to fertilize a memorial garden. There will also be a wildlife sanctuary for for rescue llamas. It’s really going to be quite spectacular.
