I don't think you should leave because of the ongoing strife, actually I think that is a good reason to stay. Don't allow anyone to be able to say after you are gone that you ran away which no doubt in my mind they would.

We have had our differences and still do. If you think a simple name change will stop people from k ...[text shortened]... y made me leave.

I am not for a second telling you what to do, just give it more thought.
