@gambrel saidI've never been to jail.
You was in jail? You said something about a party, you got a DUI, got beaten in jail? And now this? I'm terribly sorry to ask, just curious.
As a butcher of 28+ years myself (retail, restaurant, beef, bison, porl, lamb) myself, I know what a hard, tough environment it is. I also know it's physically and mentally tough. Plant work being the toughest. I was a boner.on the Fab ...[text shortened]... are brothers
Hey, do NZ butchers talk backwards like Australian rehctub? Especially cuss words lol
I was leaving one pub going to another and a workmate stopped outside the pub to take a slash. We were drinking heavily. A mufty police car pulled up with a cop that just started. He used to work with my girlfriend at a lolly factory. As they were discussing things being drink i thought it a good idea to take one too so went over to the side of the pub and had a slash. They got out of hand suddenly and pepper spray was brought out and he sprayed him good but was still trying to spray him. I went for the cops wrist as he tried to spray him. Then he decided to arrest him and I didn't interfere but his black hat came off so I picked it up and was going to give it to him but unknown to me being so drunk a real police car had pulled up and I was grabbed by my shirt from behind and had it ripped. I was put in the police car fuming yelling at the cop the 2 block drive to the police station. My memory isn't so good in the police station because of the TBI. This happened 3 months before 9/11.
@kevin-eleven saidSorry K11, but I did start with, If I may ask. He was free to tell me to mind my own business, like you just did in so many words. I was just trying to get some back ground
On my side, it's incredible that anyone felt a need to dig this deep into your personal business for whatever reason.
Whatever happened to boundaries?
Hey if he hadn't elected to answer, I wouldn't have known we both worked on the same industry. I thought his hoglette and knfe profession comments were aimed at me. Now I know different

@executioner-brand saidGood on you sir
I've never been to jail.
I was arrested twice
First time I was 17, I was out raising hell. DUI, possession of less than 1/4 oz, paraphinalia. I bailed out in 12 hours, paid fines got a clean record. In 2016 I was arrested, sent to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation, it took little time but they said, he isn't dangerously crazy, just a butthole. I was home an hour later

@gambrel saidhuh didn't get to bone the 2 sheep because it didn't arrive till midnight and the guy that did it with a knife I sharpened for him made a mess of the chops with an axe instead of a saw. Beef, sheep, pork & venison I have worked with and just missed out on doing emus.. New Zealand is huge on farming.

@kevin-eleven saidNo, they were out to get me
Would it be wrong to say they gave you a cursory examination? 😉
Having taken psych classes in HS and college, I knew how to shoot them down before they even got there
Plus I had been evaluated before, so they knew me
@executioner-brand saidOnce in a while we did yakk. But we did beef and bison mostly. Years before I worked at a custom shop, we did about 70 lamb on Monday, 70 pigs Tues, 20 beef Wed, 100 pigs Thursday and 20 beef Friday

were you slaughtering them too or just the boning side?
@gambrel saidSorry for my pun that misfired. But I do get that knowing how to act "normal" is an important life skill.
