That I ran out of contact solution, is it ok to store them in water for a night?

Could you think about the things that make you cry... like tire commercials and Everybody Loves Raymond and collect enough tears to keep them over night?

Maybe if I punched myself in the nose, but I doubt it.

I think I'm gonna have to just try using water. Oh well. Although I could just open a new pack of contacts and put the old ones in there with the new ones - that seems like a bad idea.

Yes, but only if your tears are clean from all the micro-organisms that cause eye fungal infections.

I am learning so much today and I don't even wear contacts. RHP is teh best.

For a month!?!?

One night won't kill you, but a month is ridiculous.

does the internet say anything about any solutions that can be found in the house/made from household stuff that you can leave contacts in? like vinegar?

EDIT: salt-solution is used to clean contacts, says wiki. but not to disinfect... it says something about a hydrogen peroxide solution too. but i wouldn't risk making that...😛

That's what I did, with only minor discomfort upon awakening.

And yes, a month is ridiculous.

Saline is used to rinse lenses.

I read somewhere about someone successfully employing a Japanese alcoholic beverage for the task, can't remember the name, sorry.
