I disecagree about the smoking- smoking has been shown to protect against Alzheimers,and although men live less long than women, th0se men who make into their 90s have less alz (which in thisagegroup kills the women) and many smoke.
Chess and smoking in 90 year olds may actually be benefical in prologing life.

it is almost highly probable that it is in reality good for you
If you want to avoid Alzheimers, just make sure to constantly exercise your brain by doing something mentally challenging (like playing chess for example). There is no need to risk cancer and other complication caused by smoking. 😵
