Rome.

More diversity....

More hidden beauty spots....

More charming cafes....

More culture....
Oh please....Rome

Achitecture...
Rome (with so much ease it's embarassing)
But London was built in a day.

Shav mate,

You are a man after my own heart!

I am a Londoner and never thought I could live in any other place. I loved all the things mentioned above BUT, once you've spent a single day in Rome, London somehow loses it's appeal.

Rome IS the best city in Europe (though Istanbul is cool too if you know where to go).

Of course, that makes me wonder why I'm living at the top of an extremely large hill in Norway with nothing but a sad little shop and a flag pole for non-taxi going entertainment but that's a different story.

We went to my g/f's grandparents house in Lille, France, which was beautiful.

I actually had a great time in London. I got to see many friends who I hadn't seen in ages and I enjoyed the city quite a bit, except for the food. Afternoon tea at the British Museum and flat, warm ale were a couple of the highlights for me.
How did the grandparents feel about the 'Yellow Peril' violating their sweet grand daughter?

They loved me. They showered me with gifts and spirits and repeatedly asked me to call them "Mamie" and "Papie".

I'm the original wolf in sheep's clothing.

I can't blame you, I'd get into that sheep's clothing too given half the chance 😛
