Long Running Threads

General

I'm a bit stunned to find a thread I started back in 2014 at the top of Page 1 in this forum, with 14100 posts. I see my friend IceCold has his 2009 thread on Page 1 too, with 13180 posts. In the first 20 pages of the thread list these are the only two with 5-digit post numbers.

I seem to recall a couple which did Word Association, and I'm sure there were others whose names I can't recall. Anyone keeping statistics out there?

you are the queen with the most hits
in the old clans forum there was a thread with over 5,000 hits
I think your thread will remain popular and continue for a long time

The original Word Association Game launched by Starrman in 2004 topped 50,000 posts.

The thread was too long. Click the link and go to the last page.

Perhaps it got too heavy and slow, and needed to start again?

It was a bandwidth issue. Did you read the explanation?

I believe the thread was closed for technical reasons by the site owner.
