2 average meals a day - 6AM and 6PM. Only 1 treat a week, a can of wine (12 oz) + small bag of chips on Saturday night. Exercise 6 days a week. It's working, down 8 pounds now, but it sucks! Almost midnight, and hunger is growing. Sources say one's body will get used to this in time. I hope so! 😕
At least you're getting results. I remember starving myself and not losing. And I was active
Later after an illness I dropped from 230 to 170
Trying to gain also took time.

60 lbs. is a lot of weight. You must have looked like skin and bone.

Starving yourself is not considered a healthy thing to do.

I recently weighed myself and was 140.85 kilos. Probably gained a kilo or two since then.
Perfectly healthy if you are 8 feet tall.

No, I’m that tall when I stand on a chair.

Make that a very sturdy chair.

I was 360 at my biggest. I changed my job to a more physically demanding one. Dropped down to 235.

I was 390 at my biggest.

Lost 120 pounds in seven months due to a lot of walking and a low-carb diet.

Gained some of it back in the pandemic.

Gaining is easier than losing that is why I like to keep the same weight. This up and down is hard on the body. Unless you're doing push ups 🙂

Wishing you the best for this project!

As for me, holding steady at about 190 lbs at age 62, and having seen how skinny my parents became by their early 80s, I don't mind having some extra pounds in reserve.

I gained about 20lbs when I quit smoking, going from 165 to, well you do the math. Eventually I lost 10 lbs, without really trying and there I’ve stayed, for the most part, with some occasional/holiday deviation 2-3lbs either way. I am in my mid 70s and 5’8-9” tall.
