Well, that depends if you appreciate warped truths, half truths, and lies that your own psyche will provoke. The subconscious mind is a terrifying thing. Try not to engage such plains too often, lest you misinterpret a truth within yourself.
Many believe the lies, warped truths and half truths are what we see now and lsd can break down those barriers, take off those blinders and show you what really is......so i am told 🙂

I've some friends who had bad trips - me, I've always been a chilled guy so acid just chilled me out more.

"Bad Trips" can be very nasty, "good trips" can be very rewarding. The most important thing is relax, have trusted friends about then sit back and enjoy the trip. Oh I found that if you're having a bad one that orange juice helps bring you down. Enjoy Orange. BTW my experience with it happened back in the mid 60's (Yellow Sunshine I think it was called) haven't made a return trip since.

Don't forget that a lot of drugs are manufactured or processed in a dodgy laboratory. Sometimes the residual chemicals that are left in the drug are more harmful than the drug itself.

Not to mention that stuff used to cut the drug can also be dangerous.

I used to take it from time to time and i would say it is one of the most powerful ways to alter your consciousness. It can seem enlightening and profound and can be hilarious but when things start to go wrong.....OH DEAR! Just one proper trip will slightly change a person forever. I understand it even changes your DNA (apparently)

You forget everything you learn on the trip a few seconds after learning it. I knew a few people who ended up in psychiatric wards from too much of that stuff. Best avoided to be perfectly honest.

Whether you have a "bad trip" or a "good trip" depends on your mental fortitude and circumstance. If your girlfriend just dumped you, or your parents are getting a divorce, or you lost your job, or your granny died, then don't take lsd at that time. I've known people who have had super serious bad trips.

I did acid once, some really really good pure stuff (according to my very experienced and trusted friends). It was incredible, I was tripping balls for like 12 hours, but you have to make sure the environment is right.

I doubt I'd ever do it again.

Only if you live inside a failing nuclear reactor which is inside a Marvel Comic book...

you are all big enough (except for you 12 year olds violating the ToS... we know you're out there!) to find the article yourselves. Nevermind the fact that posting the link would have taken much less energy than the past two sentences.
Well it was very safe and around for ages, then they went decimal. 😛

I would regale you all with tales of my misspent youth and the humongous quantities of narcotics we used to ingest, but Mr Flopsy says if I do he'll make sure to play his music extra loud for a week. Mr Flopsy lives on my pituitary gland. He's a narcoleptic with a drink problem and a kick ass stereo system.

LSD dialates your pupils, and increases your heart rate dramatically. It also causes your salivary glands to shut down, creating dry mouth. It can on occasion, make you sweat profusely. What happens in your thought process largely depends on your personality.. euphoria, loss of appetite and paranoia have been documented.. It interferes with synapse release. ...[text shortened]... s..

What do you get when you cross LSD with Birth control pills? A trip without the kids! 😉
I tried it as a teenager in Dublin. I dont believe there was any increase in heart rate or a dry mouth or sweating.
Just a strange taste in the mouth, and it neutralised all other drugs,
I recall the ability (at a movies) to smoke half a dozen cigarettes at once and even then without feeling the inhalation at all, also I recall that alcohol had no effect, or mary jo. I never took more than a 1/2 tab and that was enough for it to a very interesting experience..

Surely you don't rely on wiki for accurate information. Otherwise you'd have to believe this link http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hookah/AN01265 they provide at the bottom of their hooka article in which they say that it actually isn't safe. Or are you just on a journey to find things you like to hear?

wiki must be accurate, the Mods use it all the time, and quote from it.

So, you have to be wrong on that. 😉
