Don't you just love'em.
I ran out of sugar so I replaced it in the cake with marmalade, honey and coconut. Delicious!

Tell me about it.

Have you run out of periods yet?

Remember, shortly after I replace my kotex stock shares with gillette, you'll be hoping for clean sidewalks to scratch.

It's usually a disaster and goes in the bin, but sometimes I'm lucky. There must be sometimes that you are SJ?

I completely mangled a birthday cake recently. I don't know what the deal was...box of cake mix, two 9" pans, and a gas oven. Had to trim off the periphery of each cake, as it had turned to rubber.

Maple syrup is NOT a good substitute for sugar in a coffee.

I did figure out that mayo and catsup is French dressing, less mayo and a bit of horse radish is cocktail sauce.

If I could figure out how to make mustard bbq, I could rule the world.

Whoa! I use interwebz!

(one thing I would say is mustard bbq is great on chicken, not just pork.)

Sometimes those packet things are a disaster no matter how closely the instructions are followed.

For those interested, Tisane is any tea not from the tea plant:

Eggs from a rubber chicken perhaps?

Ketchup and mayo with relish is Thousand Island Dressing.

Ketchup and horseradish is cocktail sauce. I never heard of putting mayo in it.

I don't think that ketchup and mayo is French dressing but it might be.

Ketchup and mayo in the sun for 48 hours is the secret sauce for Big Macs at McDonald's.

I didn't think mayo sounded right for cocktail, but figured a small ammount wouldn't hurt... plus most people probably have a mix of mayo and horseradish rather than the pure stuff.

I won't eat condiments at my mother in laws because they BBQ a LOT and leave the mayo, catsup and relish outside in the sun ALL DAY. Plus, they always have the huge bottles that last all summer... so it's double trouble.
