Believe me, that wasn't the voice of overconfidence, that was the voice of "I intend to practice everyday and take plenty of pretest lessons".

You don't drive? Here in America you better drive, and have a gun.... or your dead.

I covered this in an earlier thread, i've been driving for over a year, but the waiting list for driving tests here is such that it is commonplace to drive on a provisional licince without supervision.

In fact, there is a law here that states that if you fail your test the first time, you can legally drive without supervision for the term of your second licence.

I kid you not.

Commonplace doesn't mean legal.

Also, you have got the second statement completely wrong. If you fail your test and are still on your first provisional, you still need supervision. If you are on your second provisional, having failed a test or not, you don't need supervision. (Second provisional implying that the person has been driving for 2 years supervised.)

I kid you not.

Yeah, second licence, that's what i meant. . .but there's people here that have been driving on a provisional for 10 to 20 years without every siting a test, and there is people here who got their full licence without sitting a test atall.

I also kid you not

If you start with "will i" it always works, even if you put nonsensical gibberish afterwards. It does however think that I will become immortal "Without a Doubt". Lucky me.
