rwingett, is there anyway you can indicate on the map which territories were taken in the previous go? Like a brighter shade of that country's specific colour for example.

No.

You can download the map each week and compare it to the current one if you want.

Do you still have a copy of the first map? If so, I can do the work and post it back to you if you want.

How is it that the Tutonic Order already has control of 8 provinces? 😕

I am curious of that myself...but it is plausable. Each province, save Finland is adjacent to one of his territoies and Finland could be attacked by moving troops to a boat then to Finland. Notice that none of the captured provinces is worth more than 5 and only one is worth that. Likely that all were poorly defeneded. All in all, he did net 4 provinces, but only gained 17 in worth. There are others that gained more with taking only two provinces. Hell - Phlab almost did it by taking Rome alone (I guess Rome alone two is coming out soon - but only on dvd/vhs.)

Anyone else noticing any oddities on the map?

Upload it? I actually hadn't intended to do so. Does anyone else really want to see this? Unless there is overwhelming support for this map of your's to go up, I am disinclined to do so.

I just thought it would help people see immediately what had happened each turn, I am quite happy to host it if you want.

No probs. Each turn I will produce a map which shows which countries have been taken by bordering them in red (white for those countried which are red in colour). You can see this one at:
