LOL...

Well, my turn happened exactly as planned... my orders must have gone through.
Actually, it now appears that Byzantium did submit his order. Trying to get a coherant answer out of some of these people is nearly impossible. The fact is that I don't know who is making their orders and who isn't.

My orders went through.
"Jim" told me that Novgorod's orders went through and they were submitted late Tuesday under the extended timeframe.

Hope this helps.

Yes, actually I know that everyone who made a proclamation had their orders go through. But there were six realms that did not make a proclamation: Aquitaine, Byzantium, Denmark, Hafsids, Lithuania, and the Teutonic Order. I was trying to figure out what was going on with them. But I'm just going to wash my hands of the whole thing now. They can sink or swim on their own.

Cool, works for me 🙂

Did you ever find out what happened with Denmark and Aquitaine? Are they controlled by non-RHPers? I received an email from the GM stating that the email list had changed and gave new emails for them.

I think he inserted the wrong people. But if Lexo and Villa68 want in that badly, they can petition the GM on their own.

Let the game roll, I say.

No probs. Each turn I will produce a map which shows which countries have been taken by bordering them in red (white for those countried which are red in colour). You can see this one at:

Thanks a ton for this map! Took me forever to open it though on my dial up. Will you update the map each turn at this same address or will there be a new address for each turn?

By the way, I should be allowed to build vampires. I own Transylvania after all.

I'll update it each turn and it will be saved to the same URL. I'll also reduce the size for the bandwidth impaired too, 8Mb Broadband makes you forget about things like that.

Lol. Any chance you could fix England to show that I conquered Wales, because I look inferior at the moment! Unless we are assuming that Wales is not even worth bothering with.

In addition to Wales, your map should indicate that the Golden Horde conquered Riazan this turn and that Roum conquered Armenia.

Is anyone who didn't submit their orders last week still having trouble? Because if you miss two weeks in a row, they'll remove you from the game.

I enjoyed the following in the rulebook:

"If you invade an enemy territory and there are no enemy starships there, you may still have Move-points left eg: A Nomad has 4 Move-points. He spends 2 Move-points going to an enemy territory. If there are no enemy starships there, he still has 2 Move-points left, and can make another move. If there is an enemy peasant in the first sector he invades, however, and the Nomad eliminates the peasant, the Nomad will not be able to move any further – he has fought a battle, and his Move-points will be set to 0."

I'm having a hard enough time repelling peasant rabble, much less starships. Them dang Royalty must have 'em. 😵

That's funny. I hadn't noticed that before. They have four games:

Medieval Diplomacy
Dragonlords (fantasy version of MD)
Napoleonic Empires (Napoleonic version, duh!)
Galactic Warlords (Sci Fi version)

They all use the same basic rulebook. The reference to starships must have been meant for the Galacitc Warlords rulebook and somehow found it's way into the MD rulebook.

The Napoleonic Empires sounds like it might be interesting. Do you have a link to that?
