Can't be Morocco. Their fleet couldn't have made it to the Adriatic. Must have been Aragon or Sicily I guess. Probably Sicily. Or did Morocco have a fleet in the GoT? I don't remember.
Yeah, it was me... I wanted crap on the back of my boot.

Good guess, if you want to call it that.

But are their troops all gone? I couldn't find them, but I didn't spend much time looking. Is the Mad Duke still running around with his band of merry followers or is he dead?

EDIT - I took Apulia - the back of Italy's calf. Crete and Smyrna (I think) are now Italian. Crete's Venetian, Smyrna Sicilian.

EDIT EDIT - I guess Apulia's more of an Achilles' Tendon region. Appropriate. The first strike on Italian soil is in their Achilles' Heel. Well, assuming Dalmatia was never part of Italy. It wasn't when they made their alliance so I guess it was not.

Ach! I didn't expect so much action over there. I should learn to pay attention.

A Hungarian rabble invasion was destroyed in Bulgaria; the boys are still in possession of two previously owned Hungarian provinces. The Hungarian fleet found another spot to cower in under the protection of the Golden Horde, which has moved a lot of troops to the border of Hungary's ally, Poland. Curious. The Venetian Girl Scout troop in Frulia managed to take out two units of Polish villager conscripts. Good for you, gals!

This week's Power Ratings with a new no1:

1. Golden Horde 3
2. Saxony 1
3. Hungary 5
4. Morocco 4
5. Sicily 2
6. Aragon 8
7. Bavaria 6
8. Venice 9
9. Acquitaine 7
10. Poland 11
11. Castile 10
12. Mamulukes 15
13. Teutons 14
14. France 13
15. Byzantine 16
16. Norway 12
17. England 17
18. Novgorod 20
19. Denmark 18
20. Roum 19
21. Hafsids 21

Eliminated: Arles, Lithuania

On Turn 12, we finally lose a few realms; the Mad King was finally hunted down and apparently left to his fate at the hands of the Saxons. Looks like King Freddie struck back at our long time no1 and Denmark finally moved on and took Zeeland. The Norwegians seemed to have lost a lot of troops and so did the Saxons while the Danes didn't lose much; I'm wondering if the Vikings finally turned on their Saxon "ally".

Wert? I've never wert anything in me life.

My valour in battle is well documented in this forum.

Thanks for a good introduction to Medieval Diplomacy lads, next time I'll read the instruction manual. And not listen to Aragon. 😉
Rule the First: When thou hast in thy Possession a Castle, with all manner of Protections and Fortifications, so mighty as to have as Rival only distant Byzantium, and thou art in a War, and in that Conflict, thou art on the Defense, that is, protecting thy Lands, thou shalt, in the absence of too much Wine, Women and Song, in the presence of thy full Wits, stay within thy mighty Fortress, and not run naked through the central European Woods with thy Men-at-Arms "behind" thee playing thy Grabbarse.

Our good Spanish friend appears to have left his honor, along with his courage, behind in Swabia.

Arles was supposed to retreat to Alsace and got whacked by one of the Spaniards? LOL. Good!
