So, those 2 heavy infantry were worth 7 ranking positions? That seems a slim margin, hehe...
Edit: Oh, excuse me... 8 rating positions.
I agree the loss of Jutland was a serious blow, but the Danes still have a pretty large army if they conduct their forces correctly - which they obviously haven't done so far as their navy was off in the Baltic while their home provinces were uncovered. Again the power ratings are only a general guide and do not take non-quantifiable factors into account.
EDIT: The Danes could pillage the new territories and offset most of the loss of revenue from Jutland.
Originally posted by no1marauderI did a test pillage of one of my provinces in the first turn and got about 70% of the tax revenue. Each of the conquered provinces have sustained light damage which will reduce the value of gold to be gained from pillaging. Say, 50%, but I don't know. This damage takes one turn to repair. Pillaging now will cause 2 damage which then takes two turns to repair. You also need a unit of 10 combat points to pillage and this unit cannot move in the same turn.

I see Denmark pillaged Slavinia because damage is now medium, so the max it can expect is 10 gold. I think the best rule of thumb is to conquer, wait a turn, pillage a turn, wait a turn, pillage a turn etc. It depends on how desperate you are for gold. Also, if you see you're going to lose the province, you might as well pillage it for all it's worth.
Annexing is good but it costs you that revenue for one turn.
Fiendishly clever rules.

Did anyoine else notice the change of email addresses that was attached to the new turn?
Some of the ones that I remember are:
England
Sicily
Teutonic Knights
Byzantine
I Think that France and Aragon were also changed, but I dont have the list in front of me...
Anyone confirm what addresses changed?
Seems like we may have a number of non-RHPers playing now...
Perhaps a "wolrdwide" non-agression pact should be in order between all RHP players to eliminate those who are not......

At least Denmark and Aquitaine are non-RHP. There may be more by now, but I'm not certain.
Edit: How does one annex? I can't see how in the rulebook.
Edit 2: Ok I see it on the map.
