Why can't you discuss the strategic situation in Norway? All of the units of all the forces are visible to everyone.
Ok, I will address it as best I can, give the face value information available.

Saxony has been strong in his actions and seems to be the dominant force in the Saxon/Norway-Denmark war. I have seen limited action and movement from Norway. This could implicate several things -

1) Norway is one who needs pushing to get him to action and even so, still acts with sluggishness.
2) Norway is actually getting the short end of the stick.
3) Action has been occuring on the Saxon front and not as much on the Norwegian one - Perhaps that is how they chose to split it up?
4) Perhaps the Saxon/Norway agreement was that Norway would help Saxony secure the southern part of Denmark, then Saxony would help Norway secure the northern part of Denmark.
5) i could be wrong on all counts as i dont have all of the DIPLOMATIC information.

**EDIT - This is all speculation and not meant to be thought of as fact.**

Better grab a couple dozen boxes of Kleenex if you intend to try to take Venice.

Saxony is no threat to Venice, is not at war with Venice and has no intentions on Venice (unless it continues to pee us off). I suggest Venice focuses on its immediate and pressing problems.
If that is so, why did you cancel our alliance? The Bavarian didn't tell you who you could ally with, did he? According to the King of Hungary, that's a "stab in the back worthy" offense.

That one gets my vote.

The King of Norway is so sluggish that his enemies leave tin pans of mead about the gardens, hoping he'll drown in one of them.

Took me a while to get that one.

Interesting how someone finally ups to discuss things with no1 and he shuts up....

*of course, I probably just opened up the flood gates the the Venetian sewage system....*

Unlike you, I don't regard this game as the center of my existence. I even post in other threads every once in a while! Go figure. Norway's still getting the short end of the stick and if he doesn't realize it, he's not paying attention. We'll see if this turn the Norwegians gain or lose territory.

Not to worry, Doge. Rest assured I am paying attention. Whatever fate befalls my nation, I am ready to accept on the merits or lack thereof based on my own decisions.

Maybe because you can't see that which may be hidden by design, you are overly concerned for my people's welfare, much like a mother hen who loses sight of her stray chick.

I am sure there is no concern whatsoever save for his own backside. It is obvious that his attempt is to turn others against the german nations and us against each other. Fortunately we are much smarter than he thinks we are, which is his own downfall. 🙂

So far as I can see, you're dumber than the average rock but are an object of some pity. No matter; every army you send my way will be smashed. If we fall to others based on overwhelming numbers so be it, but you'll have to convince some other realm to hand you over Venice; Bavaria will NEVER take it.

It's funny; BB has no hesitation at all in suggesting to others how they can attack Acquitaine or the Teutonic Knights, but when it comes to his realm, it's "we're not discussing strategy". It's no big secret what your strategy is to anyone who can look at the map, so the "hush-hush" routine is a little absurd. Obviously, nothing that happens in the extreme North affects me directly, but the points I make that you ignore are still valid: Saxony is being allowed to rapidly expand with no formidable foes. That is creating an gap in the balance of power. If other realms want to have any hope of winning, it would be a good idea to do something about it.

Don't you agree, Saxon?

As I said, you were carved into pieces and Venice is one of mine. I will take Venice and I will do it alone. Start making preparations for your pity party now.

Tell ya what - I will pay for the dry cleaners so you can get the reebok tread marks of the back of your cotehardie...
