Why should she go to Jail? Mental cruelty, trying to set him up, so she could possibly ruin his career, or extort money. Do you know that this isn't the case? OF couse you don't.

Going to the Media may have been a big mistake. Will a judge let those tapes in as evidence. What personal injuries does she have to prove any abuse?

You are completely ignoring the FACT that Mels Ex-Wife came forward of her own accord to say that Mel had never threatened or hit her, in all their years together.

I hope it does not end his career, separating the rants from his movies is easy for me, cause I like a lot of his movies. I had this conversation with my 83 year old mother in law yesterday, maybe she was able to see the bottom line when she said "Mel has got to give up the booze" 🙂

Very wise mother in law you have. Some anger management along with that couldn't hurt. I would like to see him get back with his Ex-wife. It was a big mistake to leave her in the first place.

I am watching with interest, to see how this all is finally settled, and what happens afterwards with his career. He is now working on a movie I heard.

according to IMDB he's currently shooting a sequal to 'What Women Want' entitled 'What Women Want 2: Raped by a pack of ****ers'

apparently Mel has said its going to be a light hearted Rom-Com aimed at a family audience

I was spanked as a child when I misbehaved.

There was always a discussion beforehand as to why the punishment was being handed down, to make sure I was on the same page, and lots of hugs afterwards, to make sure I knew I was still loved.
