Ghost has asked me to join his club on 3 occasions, probably over the past 9 months or so.
I come and go on this site, so didn't take him up on the offer.
To my regret, I didn't have the courtesy to respond with a 'no, thanks'
However, I can categorically say that I never felt Ghost was 'begging' me to join. I looked on each invite for what it was, an invite. Nothing more.

I was appently a key figure in his plan to gut the General Forum and he wanted me in the relatively new group as he saw me as a long standing friend and, according to him, an excellent poster. But I was not interested. Shortly thereafter he flounced out of divegeester's club and the rest is history. However, despite the vindictive attempt to sabotage the radio programme, it's still going strong and I post a link to it every week.
