-Removed-Well if you're not joking about not seeing a doctor I'd get to it if were you.
Just because I have arguments with people doesn't mean I don't have a heart.
I never kick someone when they are down.
No one on here argued more than Andy and I am still thinking about what happened and how he is, when his close friends don't know it is not a good sign for sure.

@badradger saidYea you floor layers are a tough bunch. My Brother-In-Law was one and would get a cut that obviously needed stitches and he'd clean it, wrap it, and keep on going. He is still a tough old dude!

Seven weeks ago during glorious pub crawl on my bicycle and an intoxicating date with gravity, I broke my left fifth metatarsal. I rode two miles home directly after my fall and was taken to emergency the next day.
I wore a boot but managed to make a couple of appearances on the dance floor and my cyclist boyfriend happily set me up on the trainer in the living room to spin as long as I kept the boot on.
The boot came off a week ago from Tuesday and I was back on the bicycle for a ten mile waterfront ride. Last Saturday I did a forty-mile ride and Sunday a 30 mile ride in the rain. We’re planning a bike-packing trip in the next couple of weeks.
Definitely take the time to give your foot the rest and immobilization it needs. It’s worth it.
I hope your foot mends very soon.

@hakima saidKind words Hakima but all Dive has is a sore foot from wearing overly tight walking shoes.....remember he is a Drama Queen.

@badradger saidBack in the 80’s I started running on grass then did a 5 mile road run .... in daps! I couldn’t flex my ankles for two days, the pain was horrific. I felt like that imprisoned author in Misery who got his ankles smashed with a sledge hammer.

@drewnogal saidRunning on tarmac seems to mess with my knees. Running on tracks seems way more natural. I was thinking of doing Birkenhead Park run for social reasons, but that includes a lot of tarmac paths. I think I'm going to do Delamere Forest instead and run on the tracks. Thanks for helping me decide. 😁

Except for the breaking bones bit. Thankfully, I've never broken a bone, but I've cracked quite a few and sprained a few joints.
I've cycled in the rain, it's a bit tricky sometimes, depending on the surface. I did a 90 degree left turn on wet concrete at almost twice the speed I should have (it was at the end of a downhill, poor decision-making) and got scraped up badly. This was like 15 years ago and turns like that still scare me.
